Ozone Monitor in ambient
For OZONE detection in air purifying, deodorizing,
sterilization and environmental monitoring systems
The PIE Ozonation monitor model OZ-06-A is an on-line monitoring system designed for continuous measurement of ozone gas in ambient. OZ-06-A equipped with a semiconductor ozone sensor using an innovative ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) sensing material for ozone detection. The full-scale operating range of the monitor is 0 – 255 ppb. Relay contacts are standard, and may be used either for simple control schemes or for signaling ozone leakage.

Sensitivity Characteristics
A semi-conductor ozone sensor measures gas by the value
of Rs/R(air). This is called “sensitivity”. Thus, the gas ozone
value is based on the sensor resistance value in clean air. Where:
Rs : Sensor resistance value in measuring the gas
R(air) : Sensor resistance value in clean air
The sensor resistance increases with an increase of ozone concentration based on logarithmic function.
